Set in the heart of the village, Le Château de Septmonts mainly comprises of the 14th century donjon or keep. The Chateau was the residence of the Bishops of Soissons and is said to have been inspired by the works of Charles of France.
In addition to the donjon, the site includes the remains of the Bishop’s Palace, a 13th century hall – Salle St. Louis and various sections of walls.
