Michel Cluizel had a dream of sharing his life’s passion with the public. And so, in 2002, he decided to open the Chocolatrium® with his children to introduce the public to the universe and the culture of chocolate, the jobs of the Cacaofèvier® and the Confectioner and some of the secrets of the Chocolate Maker.
Glimpse into the world of chocolate and hear the story of cocoa during this captivating journey through fascinating flavours and rare objects. Not only that, but learn about the history of the Manufacturer Cluizel, the family business behind the Chocolatrium®.
The Museum/Chocolatrium® combines culture, curiosity and tasty delights. Each year, more than 16,000 visitors are drawn to the 500m2 space containing the Gallery, the Film Library and the Discovery Workshop, which offers guided tasting sections.
