Canoeing in the Marais Poitevin (The Green Venice) is the perfect way to spend a vacation or a weekend away from the stress of the road.
You travel by canoe through shallow channels, rich in fauna and flora, for 2 to 8 days, stopping at 2 and 3 star campsites. The campsites are directly accessible by boat.
The channels lead you through the heart of villages typical of the Marais Poitevin, an area defined by the beauty and diversity of its half land, half aquatic landscape.
No knowledge of canoe navigation is required and explanations on handling the canoe will be given prior to departure.
