The Jardin des Paradis were inspired by the idea of ‘paradise or Islamic gardens’ and achieved the status of “Jardin Remarquable” in 2004. . They were created by Eric Ossart and Arnaud Maurieres, two well known French garden designers, and cover an area of 2500 square metres.
As with all Paradise gardens, water is important and these gardens contain a magnificent pond displaying a colourful and varied selection of water plant.
Another notable area is the potager, a vegetable garden, where flowers are mixed with vegetables.
