Horses like you’ve never seen before!
The Michaudière, a farm typical of le bocage, set in the middle of a beautiful orchard of pear trees, was purchased in 1984 by Jean Dinard. The buildings that had been left completely abandoned for more than forty years have been restored with traditional materials and techniques.
Jean Dinard created La Ferme du Cheval de Trait in 1989, around an idea: to raise awareness and offer new opportunities for draft breeds. Twenty years later, more than 450,000 spectators have learned about the Percheron, Breton and Norman cobs! Today is one of the major tourist attractions of Normandy.
