The Artouste’s Petit (Little)Train is the highest operating tourist train in Europe and gives access to the surrounding mountains and all they have to offer.
The route starts in front of the Pic du Midi d’Ossau and rises to 2000m and from the train can see the stunningly azur blue of Lake Artouste and distant snow-capped mountains. A guided tour lets you explore the underground galleries in the mountain. Taking a picnic is highly recommended.
