Located in the heart of the Jura mountains, in the department of Doubs, the Polar Park is located in the Mouthe “Little French Siberia”. The park is centred around an old mountain farm set at an altitude of 1200 metres in the forest of Risoux.
Parc Polaire is home to reindeer, red deer , european bison, bighorn sheep, yaks, aurochs and tarpan horses all of which live in as near a natural environment as possible.
There is a mini park for younger children with pygmy goats and sheep.
