[post_content] => Zepherine sleeps 2 adults and 2 children in a double bedroom and mezzanine bedroom (please note that the mezzanine bedroom partially overlooks a small section of the double bedroom below)
• There is no separate sitting room in the cottage. However, there is a small wrought iron two-seater sofa in the kitchen (with cushions) and two armchairs in the double bedroom upstairs.
• Please note that the stairs in the cottage are steep but all staircases are fitted with child gates. The beams in the mezzanine bedroom are low so the room best accommodates children although we have had many teenagers staying over the years!
• The kitchen is equipped with a gas oven, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer, coffee percolator, cafetiere, toaster, juicer, etc. The cottage also has a washing machine.
• The cottage is equipped with a small portable radio/cd player, with UK Freeview television, dvd player, a selection of dvds and plenty of books. Please be aware that there is no wifi in the cottage but there is free wifi at the Cafe des Colonnes in Riberac (10 minutes away) and previous guests have used mobile internet access.
• The double bedroom (with lovely views) opens onto a large roof terrace which is furnished with an outdoor table and chairs, two teak sun beds and a parasol. The roof terrace has steps which lead down to the pool area. The roof terrace is perfect for sunbathing, barbeques (bbq sets are provided), meals al fresco, and watching spectacular sunsets!
• Zepherine guests share the use of the swimming pool (unheated) with the guests of our other cottage (Mistral)
• The cottage has a lawn area to the front of the cottage with pretty flowerbeds and is furnished with an outdoor teak table and chairs. The shared off-lane parking area is found to the front of Zepherine cottage

[post_content] => This cottage has been equipped to provide the possibility of accommodation for families with the need for disabled or reduced mobility facilities. The front door opens off the front terrace into an impressive living area with 12 foot high exposed oak beam ceilings, the kitchen dining area is through a doorway off the living room. There is a downstairs double bedroom with wide doors and a wetroom type bathroom.
Upstairs are two further bedrooms, a double with ensuite shower room and a twin room with ensuite bathroom. The views from the front of the property look over towards the gardens, play area and swimming pool enclosure.

Outside
Set in rural farmland of over four acres, La Lohuas has a several discreet outside areas within it's boundaries. Each with it's own attraction and character.
The most popular with children is the fenced and secure play area, which has been designed to ensure that children can “let their hair down†without disturbing the other guests. Here we have a huge open-fronted barn with children's toys, sandpit and a table tennis table. An ideal distraction if ever it rains, but with the added bonus of being shaded from the sun on the hottest of days. Next to the barn is a large lawned area with a 14 foot trampoline, swings, slide, see-saw and football and badminton nets.
There are gardens with a croquet lawn, a hammock suspended under the walnut trees and a little walk behind the chicken pen takes you down to our woodland fairy grotto, where you can listen to the birds singing and the babbling brook. There is a little stream at the bottom with a bridge, where you can play “pooh-sticksâ€.

We offer a safe and peaceful environment in which to enjoy an affordable self catering family holiday in rural France. With other toddlers and young children for yours to play with and an enclosed garden and safely enclosed swimming pool you will be able to relax with a chilled glass of wine chatting to like minded parents whilst your children
make new friends.
Papillon sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. It was originally used for keeping animals (probably pigs - hence the name 'butterfly' ! it sounds nicer !) It has now been totally converted into a lovely cottage with terrace front and rear with charcoal barbecue. Downstairs is open plan with living and dining areas and for those who enjoy cooking up local french dishes such as moules in cream sauce - it has a very spacious kitchen area with loads of work space and cupboards for storing all those goodies purchased at the market. The low dark ceilings with ancient exposed central oak beam and the exposed stone walls, create a lovely dark, cool escape from the heat of the summer.
The kitchen is equipped with 4 ring gas hob, work top electric oven /grill, sink, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher and all the basic pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
On the first floor is a good sized double bedroom with large wardrobe, draw unit and vanity basin; a twin room with wardrobe and a small childrens room with bunk beds and set of draws as well as hooks for hanging. The bathroom has a bath with shower facility, toilet and basin and as with all our cottages - loads of hot water and good pressure for the shower. The straight wooden staircase is open tread and is steeper than what you may be used to at home but has a stair barrier top and bottom. There is a stone step down to the doorway which may be an issue for toddlers. There is a spacious patio area front and rear with a bbq at the back and garden furniture at the front.
We can provide cots, highchairs, toddler step, booster seat, steriliser, monitors, play mats, baby chairs, child toilet seats, bedguards, pottys, baby baths and seats, changemats, hand blenders - just name it we've probably got it !
Stair barriers are standard in every gite top and bottom. There is an outside loo so children don't have to go upstairs at all during the day. We have a good selection of board games and books. We provide lots of local information and are familiar with local restaurants and beaches in the area. We have a 'day out folder' with sights you must not miss and comments from previous guests about great places they have discovered on their holiday

[post_content] => A stunning spacious villa with its own in ground pool, craftsman built as part of a very small select development. The villa is beautifully furnished and sleeps 4. Situated with open views of an ancient ruined castle and rolling vineyards yet just a short walk to the local village.
The Villa was built a few years ago, it is now maturing beautifully into it's surroundings and was loved by all who stayed there last year. The villa is fully furnished with comfortable seating for 4 adults inside or out in the living, dining and patio areas. There is satellite TV showing the main UK channels in addition to about 50 other channels, a DVD player if you wish to bring DVD's and also a Bose sound-dock to play your ipod. The villa also enjoys WiFi internet access. As it is built on a sloping site the villa is entered at first floor level. There is an open plan staircase down to the very spacious living / dining area. The open plan kitchen, fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine adjoins this room. The master bedroom with large double bed and ensuite shower room is a mezzanine floor partially above this area and there is a further twin bedroom and house bathroom on the upper floor. There are South facing doors opening onto the comfortably furnished, very private patio and pool area with sun loungers for lazy days, a table and chairs for al fresco dining and a large parasol for when the sun is a little too strong
Durban Corbieres is superbly situated to make the most of the fascinating and varied landscape of Languedoc, from the 300 km of unspoilt beaches stretching from the Cote d'Azur to the Spanish border, over 40 of which have blue flag status, to the medieval castles of the Cathars. Not forgetting of course some of the best wine growing regions in France.
Superb Climate: Daytime temperatures in summer average 30 degrees and 20 degrees at night, making it just about the perfect climate for a holiday. This region boasts over 300 sunny days a year with an annual average of 22 degrees, great for a week away from the hustle and bustle at any time of year.
Activities: The Cathar Way long distance footpath passes through Durban Corbieres and explores all the main Cathar sites or for the less ambitious there are a multitude of walks through the vineyards enjoying the scents of the juniper, wild thyme, rosemary and lavender which grow in the wild garrigae landscapes of the region. An unmissable Languedoc experience is to walk, boat or cycle along the tree lined Canal du Midi which passes just a few miles from Durban Corbieres. The more active can find everything from tennis to kite surfing on the lagoons at Leucate. As little as 70 miles away is the Pyrenean ski centre of Formigueres which has an enviable reputation for reliable snow and beautiful sunny weather.

'Brume de L'Aube' ('Dawn Haze'), a large, bright, relaxing villa is located near some of the most beautiful villages and scenery in France. Lourmarin, Bonnieux, Menerbes and Lacoste (popularised by Peter Mayle) are all within 5-20mins drive, with easy access to the rest of Provence.
Set in 1/2 acre of terraced garden with olive trees and lavender, the villa's sun terrace offers stunning views over the Durance valley and Cezanne's Mont Saint Victoire in the distance. The location is secluded, tranquil and private, looking out over the vineyards and countryside from it's hillside location, yet just a 10 min walk to the centre of Lauris with it's Monday market, four restaurants, three bakeries, small supermarket and old village dating from the 15th C, including a dozen or so artists workshops and galleries.
