[post_content] => Eco-Gite of Lenault is a spacious 5 person (+ 2 cots) family-friendly gite situated in a converted haybarn on our smallholding in Calvados, Normandy.
We provide masses of kit for babies, toddlers and children and have a large outdoor play area, a play barn, a boules pitch. Visitors of all ages have the chance to help out with the animals on our smallholding. With the children well catered for we also want visiting adults to have a relaxing holiday. We therefore provide/offer:
* A well stocked welcome box with extras such as something home-baked, local cider and home-made jam
* 'On arrival' shopping - fee applies
* The chance to buy local produce from our smallholding
* First night dinner - please ask for the menu and prices
* BBQ packs
* A comprehensive tourist pack
We are on the edge of Swiss Normandy with all its outdoor activities and within easy reach of such places as Bayeux, Mont St Michel, Jurques Zoo and the D-Day Landing beaches (which are wonderfully family friendly). Close-by there is also a local velo-railway, many art galleries and museums, swimming pools, soft play areas, tree-top trails and much more just waiting for you and your family to discover.
An extensive network of footpaths starts right from our back gate so you can explore and enjoy the local countryside, IF you can drag the children away from the play area! In fact the most frequent comment we hear from children visiting is, "Do we have to go out? We are having too much fun here!"

ideal for couples or familys alike,
The garden boasts a nice gazebo area, for alfresco dinning, and that all important barbeque.
