The recent renovation has been carefully carried out to preserve the character of the property while bringing a contemporary feel to the decor.
The private sun terrace is sheltered and flooded with sunlight throughout the day. It is ideal
for entertaining and provides comfortable seating for 4 or more people. What better way to end the day than sipping local wine on the terrace with the swallows dipping diving around.

[post_content] => Moulin Haut is our 4 bedroom cottage converted from a 17th century water mill, sleeping ideally 6 but up to 8 people. Situated in the beautiful grounds overlooking the stream, it is set back from the swimming pool and has its own private terrace.
This is ideal for larger families as it has 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms.
The door from the terrace overlooking the stream leads into the living room with circular kitchen area, electric cooker, dishwasher and 2 fridges. There is a new woodburner, making Moulin Haut ideal for spring or autumn holidays.
The lounge has comfortable seating including double sofas, dining table, chairs and English tv and dvd home cinema system.
Also on this level is a double bedroom & twin bedroom sharing a bathroom and wc.
Downstairs (steep steps!) leads to two further bedrooms, one twin & one double, a shower room & wc.
The cottage has a BBQ, dining table for 8 plus outdoor tables and chairs. high chairs and cots are available on request.
The 2nd double bedroom downstairs does not have an outside window and we recommend its use only in the peak summer season.

[post_content] => Villa Toto is set in a tiny hameau, there are only five other houses and the road doesn't lead anywhere, so it's rare to see a passing car - and they always wave! It has five double bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large L-shaped lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. There is room for ten to dine in comfort both inside and out, and the terraced gardens lead down to the large fenced pool. There are plenty of loungers and chairs, and the west garden is shady in the afternoons if you need to stay cool. Although rural in location, Villa Toto is just a ten minute drive to everyday shopping (and the bar!) and is half an hour from Carcassonne. A twenty minute drive takes you to either Limoux or Mirepoix and the property is located in the fascinating Razé area of the Aude. The views from the garden are spectacular - to the south the Pyrenees, and to the north lie the Black mountains. The Mediterranean beaches are under an hour's drive to the east and the Pyrenees about the same to the south.

You can make magnificent walks here and enjoy the unspoilt nature or explore the surroundings on a mountain-bike. You can hire one of the horses and go for a ride in the hillside, with guide Manuel.
You can make use of the (shared) swimming pool (round, 6 m) or go to one of the nearby lakes: Lac Montbel or Lac de Puivert, where you can swim, surf, sail or hire a pedalo.

The petite maison de vacance comfortably accomodates three adults (or family with young children) in the three-level house connected by a pretty circular stairway. The kitchen/dining area is situated in the ground floor complete with a fridge, stovetop (hob), microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and washing machine. The first floor contains the salon/sejour with satellite plasma TV, DVD player and a sofa bed called click-clack in France. The second floor has the bedroom (double bed) and complete bathroom with shower. Another toilet is situated in the ground floor as well as a huge boiler/water heater. Linens are provided and guests have access to Satellite TV for BBC, CNN and France24 among others. Wi-fi is available as well.

[post_content] => The 'Petit Gite de la Riviere' is a beautiful apartment of 40 m² with a terrace of 20 m², situated on the edge of the village, above the river with a view of the abbey. The center of the village with all amenities (bakery, grocer's shop, tobacco-press, coffee(café), restaurants, pharmacy, ...) is at less than 300 metres of the house.
The gîte can accommodate 2 people.
Everything is on the ground floor, the main entrance, which is in fact a magnificent iron glass door, leads into a corridor, which brings you to the front door of the apartment (staircases lead to the apartments of the owner). Once entered 'Le Petit Gite', you are in the main room, with the kitchen, equipped of one microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator with compartment of freezing, coffe machine, kettle, toaster, and all the necessary to cook. The dining room with an old cupboard, the wooden table and 4 chairs, the living-room with blue sofa with a glass coffee table and a TV with DVD reader.
A glazed main entrance gives access to the terrace where is a big tiled table with its chairs and 2 deckchairs, to bask under the parasol or in the shade of trees with as background noise the wind and the river.
To the left of the front door is the bedroom, endowed with a big double bed, a big cupboard and an antique mirror, 2 night tables, numerous books and magazines and a ventilation.
The bathroom which separates the 2 rooms consists a shower, a washbasin, a toilet, and a hairdryer.

Maison Grenache has a large living-room with arched terrace doors on the side and in front. The entrance is on the side as well - you come in into a hallway, where there is a toilet, the room for the washing machine and the wardrobe. The tiled stairs lead to the first floor: bordered on a large corridor, you will find two bedrooms (one with twin beds, the other with 2 beds of 1.20 x 2.00), with a bathroom each. One with just a shower, the other with bathtub (triangle) and shower.
