The cottage is set amidst beautiful countryside approximately 2 miles from the local village of Guern, 10 miles from the historic town of Pontivy and a 45 minute drive from Vannes and 30 minutes to the renown southern coast of Brittany.
Theself catering holiday accommodation comprises one double and two twin rooms, a separate WC and bathroom with shower on the first floor.
On the ground floor there is a large fitted farmhouse kitchen, a very comfortable lounge with log-burning stove and cloakroom.There is also central heating for comfortable off-season lets. A cot and highchair are available.
The location is ideal for outdoor pursuits. It is close to 250 acre forest with an abundance of wildlife and many species of bird life, including the magnificent kingfisher.
The property still has many of the original granite buildings, some of which have been utilized for the benefit of the visitors, but still retaining the charm of the country property.
Surrounding the cottage there is approximately 8 acres of meadowland and more formal lawns through which the River Sarre meanders with good trout and pike fishing.The mill leat feeds a large pond in front of the house and whilst swimming and paddling can take place it is advisable to always ensure young children are supervised. A canoe is provided for further enjoyment of the water at visitors own risk.
There is ample space for outdoor games too. A barbecue and garden furniture are provided and there is badminton and petangue. The latter are shared facilities with THE COTTAGE next door which is also available for renting together with MAISON BLANCHE for large groups.
A 2m plunge pool is also provided to add to your enjoyment of the garden.
Fishing is permitted from the garden or surrounding meadow and licences are easily obtained.

[post_content] => Renting both of the Brittany cottages at Le Crann is very popular with large families and groups who want to be together for a special event or holiday and the space to spread out. The cottages are Fuchsia (sleeps 7, ref no.1427) and Wisteria (sleeps 10, ref 1428)

In the shared gardens is the pool area, with 2 six metre pools; fully decked with security fencing. The pools are heated with amazing views of the forest and valleys from the pool deck. The pools are locked when not in use. Pools open from 4 Apr to the 25 Sept.

These cottages are named after the nearby River Blavet locks of Treblavet, Minazen and Rimaison.
** There is a new room with three beds, shower and toilet, above the information cottage which would be suitable for teenagers, if you need extra, room only, accommodation. The rental is 200€ per week for two people in peak season.
Full of character, this detached cottage is the perfect place to stay with family or friends. Standing a little apart from the other two cottages, this former barn blends the charm of the old with the comfort of the new. equipped for four people, although six can be accommodated as furnishings include a double sofa bed..
Access to the Gite is through french windows from the rear garden, these leading into a very large open plan sitting room ,dining area and spacious kitchen area on a raised level. Stairs lead up to the
mezzanine, with the large beamed double bedroom off of this. A second short flight of stairs lead to a
landing with doors leading to the twin bedroom, bathroom and toilet. All rooms are beamed with
character.
Outside there is parking for two cars, a large seating area with table, four chairs and a barbecue, access to the meadow, a great place for children to play and dogs to have a run. A path alongside the garden
leads to the small swimming pool with comfortable furniture provided on the decking. A lovely spot to
relax in the sunshine with a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
Motorcycles and bicycles can be stored safely under cover in our large storeroom.
Games, books and drawing facilities are provided for children as are a number of DVDs and books for
adults. We also have a large folder full of information about many places to visit.
A choice of arrival day meals are offered at a cost of 10 euros.

Both bedroom 2 and 3 has 2 single pine beds and wardrobes. The cottage is set in 1/2 an acre of lawn garden with a large patio area near the cottage with table and chairs, BBQ and sun parasol. The heated swimming pool is approx 8m by 4m with a patio area facing south and has sun loungers and parasol for our guests use. The swimming pool is available from mid May to MID September. The swimming pool is fenced off from the house and also has an alarm system which complies to French regulations. The pool is heated by an air source heat pump. Ground floor is open plan in the traditional Breton style. Roof beams, trusses and original stone walls are exposed throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a full gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, coffee maker. Heating by wood burning stoves and electric wall heaters.
From the lounge is a feature open tread staircase leading to a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, and family shower room. All bedrooms are carpeted.
Private garden with BBQ and garden furniture. The cottage is self catering and is equipped to a very high standard. Outside: the cottage has its own private garden with BBQ and garden furniture. There is fishing at Lac de Dordu which is adjacent to the gardens and is stocked with large common carp, large pink, tench and perch. Fishing permits can be purchased from the owners on a daily or weekly basis which allows fishing in all the lakes in Morbihan. The 30`x 20`shared solar heated swimming pool (open mid-May - mid-Sept), has a surrounding patio and sun loungers.

The cottage is set amidst beautiful countryside approximately 2 miles from the local village of Guern, 10 miles from the historic town of Pontivy and a 45 minute drive from Vannes and 30 minutes to the renown southern coast of Brittany.
Theself catering holiday accommodation comprises one double and two twin rooms, a separate WC and bathroom with shower on the first floor.
On the ground floor there is a large fitted farmhouse kitchen, a very comfortable lounge with log-burning stove and cloakroom.There is also central heating for comfortable off-season lets. A cot and highchair are available.
The location is ideal for outdoor pursuits. It is close to 250 acre forest with an abundance of wildlife and many species of bird life, including the magnificent kingfisher.
The property still has many of the original granite buildings, some of which have been utilized for the benefit of the visitors, but still retaining the charm of the country property.
Surrounding the cottage there is approximately 8 acres of meadowland and more formal lawns through which the River Sarre meanders with good trout and pike fishing.The mill leat feeds a large pond in front of the house and whilst swimming and paddling can take place it is advisable to always ensure young children are supervised. A canoe is provided for further enjoyment of the water at visitors own risk.
There is ample space for outdoor games too. A barbecue and garden furniture are provided and there is badminton and petangue. The latter are shared facilities with THE COTTAGE next door which is also available for renting together with MAISON BLANCHE for large groups.
A 2m plunge pool is also provided to add to your enjoyment of the garden.
Fishing is permitted from the garden or surrounding meadow and licences are easily obtained.
