[post_content] => Located on the Kermarch site but away from the farmhouse and cottage are Maisons Madeleine and Marie. These two semi detached cottages next to each other were recently converted from an old seventeenth century house and stable and offer very bright, comfortable accommodation. Both properties share access to the swimming pool with the farmhouse and cottage. Madeleine is the larger of these two properties and sleeps 10 plus cot.
The front door opens into a fully tiled kitchen/lounge area. The lounge has 2 sofas plus armchairs, flat screened TV with freeview, video and DVD player. There is a good selection of books/videos and some DVDs.
The kitchen is fitted with a stainless steel gas oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine. There are plenty of good quality crockery, cutlery and glasses as well as kettle, toaster, coffee machine, hand blender, ironing board, iron, clothes airer, hoover etc. Free wireless broadband access WIFI
Large French doors open onto a patio area with tables and chairs, parasols and BBQ. Off the lounge is a double bedroom with dual aspect windows, a twin bedroom and a shower room and toilet.
Upstairs are two triple bedrooms each with a double & single bed and a bathroom.
Outside there is a large lawn area outside of both Madeleine and Marie which has been very popular with holidaymakers with young children as there are lots of toys,swing slide etc here and it enables parents to keep an eye on their children from inside the cottage or relax with a drink outside with their children in full view whilst they are playing. Across the lawn area is the boules court and large playing field for cricket, football, rounders etc.

The master bedroom has matching pine furniture including double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, cheval mirror and an en-suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Both bedroom 2 and 3 has 2 single pine beds and wardrobes. The cottage is set in 1/2 an acre of lawn garden with a large patio area near the cottage with table and chairs, BBQ and sun parasol. The heated swimming pool is approx 8m by 4m with a patio area facing south and has sun loungers and parasol for our guests use. The swimming pool is available from mid May to MID September. The swimming pool is fenced off from the house and also has an alarm system which complies to French regulations. The pool is heated by an air source heat pump. [post_content] => The Grange, sleeps 10, is the largest cottage in the group of three only 1km from the village of Riec sur Belon It consists of recently converted farm buildings within a small group. It is set in peaceful, wooded countryside in South Finisterre, between the Belon and Aven rivers and close to the sea. The buildings feature thick natural stone walls and heavy wood beams. First floors are of solid natural pine, whereas ground floors are tiled for ease of upkeep. Each property has a traditional woodburning stove in addition to electric radiators. Many visitors comment that the buildings are well equipped.
At the rear of each property is a separate secluded patio area leading on to a large communal grass area ideal for children. Barbeques, outdoor seating, table tennis and a boules pitch are provided. a Grange is a large converted barn with five bedrooms and three shower/bathrooms, ideally suited to several generations of one family or to large organised groups. The accommodation sleeps 10, with two bedrooms each containing a double bed and three bedrooms each containing a pair of single beds. Downstairs is a very large lounge, a spacious separate kitchen/diner (with 10 seat dining table) and a smaller TV/CD/video room.
One bedroom with two single beds is situated on the ground floor at the rear of the building, where it has a window to the rear garden. It is well away from the living rooms and has its own large shower room and separate w/c. As such it is often popular with the older members of a family group or with persons of limited mobility.
No bed linen included. Otherwise, prices inclusive of electricity, water etc. Area The local area is ideal for quiet walks and cycling. The wooded coastal path around the Belon river passes just 400metres away. A suggested list of local walks is provided. There are many lovely beaches and harbours nearby offering a choice of sailing, canoeing, fishing, surfing and swimming in very clean and clear water. The nearest beach, Questelan, is just 2 km away.

Charles cottage sleeps 5 Near Plouguenast, and not far from Loudeac and Moncontour, this lovely group of cottages enjoys tranquil surroundings and benefits from a 7 x 4 m heated indoor pool (varies from 1.25 - 1.75 m deep) and large and well equipped games room (with table tennis/ping-pong, pool, darts and table football) and gym above the swimming pool room, along with children's play are and under-cover parking. Each cottage has its own private patio/sitting area outside for Barbequing. All kitchens have microwaves, kettles, toasters and full cooking facilities. All lounges have TV and video and there is a communal video library with a variety of tapes, numbering about 400! Communal washing machine in laundry room.

Also in the grounds are a boules court, table tennis, trampoline with safety net, swingball, children's swing and slide, basketball net, badminton and children's playhouse. We also have a grassed area that we keep cut for ball games (football, cricket and rounders) so that children can play safely within sight but without disturbing the adults.

All three bedrooms have twin zip and link beds so can be set up as either twins or king size doubles.
The heated pool is fenced and alarmed and has a retractable cover.

There is a large sunbathing terrace and the pool is open and heated from mid-May until the end of September. It is securely fenced. The extensive grounds are a delight for all ages and cover around 22 acres including a large children's play area, indoor play barn, games field, open parkland and is bounded by trees and fields.
