[post_content] => La Croix is a beautiful, newly renovated, 3 bedroom loire gite to rent, just north of Saumur. It has been renovated in a contemporary manner providing all modern home comforts whilst retaining many original features. It is perfectly located to relax and explore the famous and not so famous sights of the Loire Valley, France. Situated in amongst rural farmland on the edge of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine National Park it is a perfect place to sit, relax and unwind whilst sampling a glass of wine from one of the many Loire vineyards.
La Croix has a large lounge / dining room with a feature fireplace and log burner. We have equipped the lounge with a TV (UK freeview channels), DVD and a PS2 games console. There are a selection of DVDs and games for you to enjoy.
La Croix has three bedrooms and comfortably sleeps six people . There is a double and twin room upstairs and a king size bedroom on the ground floor. Both the double and king size rooms have ample space for a cot.
The kitchen is equipped with all the modern facilities you would expect including a washing machine, dishwasher, Tassimo coffee machine and fridge/freezer.
There are also two shower rooms, one upstairs and one on the ground floor. The ground floor shower room has a walk in shower/wet room.
Outside we have created a lovely area which enables guests to sit out in the sun looking over the fields - it really is a relaxing view with nothing to blot out the horizon! We have provided garden furniture for six people including an umbrella for those hot days. There are also a couple of sun loungers for those who want to do nothing but read a book and sunbathe!

For keen fishers, there is also night carp fishing. along this stretch of water. Our house has been fully renovated, mixing characterful stone walls, beams, terracotta flooring and logburner with modern luxuries such as a jacuzzi and pool. Whether sipping wine on the terrasse watching your children playing in the water is your way of relaxing or venturing to one of the region's many chateaux and parks, you will find yourself fully immersed in a pretty, friendly village and will enjoy all the the house can offer. There is plenty of space for larger groups however our beautiful master bedroom with jacuzzi in the en suite would also suit a couple looking for a romantic break. For those with older children needing exam revision, French tuition can be organised upon request. One bedroom is downstairs, suiting families wishing to travel with elderly grandparents.

[post_content] => Our Gite 'Le Carabi' is situated in the courtyard of our B&B/Chambres D'Hotes, La Jolie Maison, in the charming rural village of Le Langon, Vendee, Pay De La Loire perfect for your holiday in France.
There is a large comfy open lounge with TV (including English Satelite)& DVD player. A very well equiped Kitchen, with large Fridge/Freezer, washing machine, Microwave, Oven & Coffee maker.
We have created our gite for people with Mobility Problems, hence we have a very spacious downstairs bedroom a wonderful wheel-in wetroom, with easy access sink. All our door widths have wheelchair access and light switches are at regulation heights.
Great News! As we now have an Electric Bed with special mattress & cot sides. We also have recently bought a wheeled padded shower chair with arms.
Upstairs, there is a light and airy Mezzanine Bedroom with Double Bed.
Outside, there is a private & secure parking area & we have also created a private garden & terrace, especially for the Gite in our own large Garden, for your exclusive use, for those family BBQ's or just a quiet romantic time, enjoying a bottle of wine (or two!!)
We also have a large above-ground swimming pool, which is available to all our guests,(access for disabled with hoist) & use of the sun-beds.

Maison Botineau is in the hamlet of La Saivrie, a small community of 25 houses .The cottage was originally built to accommodate a farm worker's family but had been used as a farm building for storing hay until we renovated it.
