Wherever possible we have exposed the beautiful stonewalls, and original beams have been used to create some outstanding features. Quarry tiles found in the garden have been used in the creation of the staircase.
Lys is ideal for two people, plus baby/toddler or small child. The lounge is very comfortably furnished, having a TV, dvd player, Ipod docking station, hi-fi, dvds, books and games. The delightful kitchen / dining room is open plan; the kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker and microwave ,iron and ironing board.. French doors lead onto a very private patio with wonderful roses, bbq and garden furniture.. Making your self catering holiday in the Loire Valley as comfortable as possible.
The bedroom is on the 'L' shaped mezzanine floor. The sofa at the opposite end of the mezzanine is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views over the countryside to Puy Notre Dame, with its famous church illuminated in the evening.

There is a large comfy open lounge with TV (including English Satelite)& DVD player. A very well equiped Kitchen, with large Fridge/Freezer, washing machine, Microwave, Oven & Coffee maker.
We have created our gite for people with Mobility Problems, hence we have a very spacious downstairs bedroom a wonderful wheel-in wetroom, with easy access sink. All our door widths have wheelchair access and light switches are at regulation heights.
Great News! As we now have an Electric Bed with special mattress & cot sides. We also have recently bought a wheeled padded shower chair with arms.
Upstairs, there is a light and airy Mezzanine Bedroom with Double Bed.
Outside, there is a private & secure parking area & we have also created a private garden & terrace, especially for the Gite in our own large Garden, for your exclusive use, for those family BBQ's or just a quiet romantic time, enjoying a bottle of wine (or two!!)
We also have a large above-ground swimming pool, which is available to all our guests,(access for disabled with hoist) & use of the sun-beds.

Maison Brio is next to Maison Botineau in the hamlet of La Saivrie. The inhabitants are almost all native to the area and are always happy to let you try out your French. The hamlet is surrounded by wooded footpaths and cycle tracks.
