Upstairs - Charming and spacious master bedroom with super king size bed which on request can be made into two single beds. Light and airy second bedroom with standard double bed. The Velux windows in both bedrooms are equipped with blackout blinds, the small window in the master bedroom has original wooden shutters. Both rooms also have ceiling fans and electric heaters. A cot and highchair are available on request.
Bright and airy bathroom, with toilet, bidet and sink, fully tiled shower unit and towel radiator, a hair dryer is also supplied.
Downstairs - Kitchen/Dining room - Sunny kitchen with Mediterranean feel, equipped with microwave, multifunction oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dining table and chairs. Light and spacious room with a window facing east towards your private garden, one set of patio doors facing west towards our garden/courtyard with lovely views, and another set of patio doors leading onto a big covered patio, private and south facing with panoramic views of the Pyrenees. Table and chairs provided for outdoors dining, as well as sun loungers and BBQ.
Lounge - Airy yet cosy room with comfy sofa and chair and wood burning stove, TV/entertainment system, there also is free Wifi internet connection. Original wooden staircase leading upstairs. Window facing west towards the courtyard and back door facing east, leading out to the private garden.
Apart from your own private patio and garden, you're welcome to use the various seating areas in our garden, which faces south with spectacular views of the Pyrenees. Take a seat under the walnut tree and enjoy the view of the Pic du Midi in the distance, while away the hours on the sun terrace by the pool or lay in the hammock with a book, in the shade that our big Cadalpa trees provide on hot days.

[post_content] => Le Pepie - birdsong - is a charming two-bedroomed stone cottage set within an acre of mature woodland and is situated an hour away from Toulouse and Carcassonne in the south-west of France. The cottage mixes rustic with modern beautifully and is an hour away from the Pyrenees.
The cottage has a great combination of contemporary and rustic. It is quirky but sympathetic to original features.
During the intense heat of summer, the interior is cool and refreshing whilst in winter the wood burner and heating makes for a cosy and warm interior protected from the outside elements.
With the option of professional catering and/or a cookery masterclass, loose yourself in the escapist indulgence of it all. We are fortunate enough to be able to offer guests the services of Karl Lashford. Karl trained and worked with the Roux Brothers at 1, 2 and 3 Michelin Starred restaurants and hotels throughout London. Now settled with his family and living and working at Le Pepie, Karl is on hand to be able to offer guests the complete service of a private chef for any of your special - or indeed run-of-the-mill - occasions. Like most professional chefs, Karl delights in preparing dishes that involve home-grown produce and is creating an organic on-site potager to satisfy this desire for relative subsistence.
Guests might want to learn cookery basics or increase their foodie knowledge. Maybe you want to gain some ideas or you want to create a signature dish. The whole culinary world is notably faddish. What was cool in the 70s might not be great for us on the twenty-teens but it might be coming back into fashion - with a twist - as our collective food journey has moved apace.

A 2 bedroom gîte with one standard double room and one twin room. Plenty of storage space is available. All bed and household linen is provided.
The large open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area are lightand airy. The French windows open out onto the covered sun terrace and outside dining area. Equipped to a high standard incorporating comfortable leather furniture. A TV (French satellite), DVD player and CD/Radio system are provided. WiFi is provided free of charge.
In the modern fully fitted kitchen there is a fridge/freezer,microwave oven, cooker with mixed gas/electric hob and electric oven - together with plenty of storage space, preparation surface and a stainless steel sink area. The shower room consists of a shower unit, wash basin with mirror, storage units and heated towel rail. The WC is in a separate room next to the shower room. All towels are provided.
In the cellar utility area a washing machine, iron, ironing board and hoover are available. The dedicated garden area for this gîte is at least 100m² with a shared BBQ area.

The gite has a fully fitted kitchen with double doors onto a private terrace. The dining area has a fireplace with a wood-burning stove and air conditioning. The living room has a TV, DVD player and mp3 player.
The extremely spacious main bedroom is on the ground floor. The Kingsize bed is fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets. There are double doors onto a private terrace with views over the vines. POTTERY PAINTING ATELIER
Create your own masterpiece with a selection of pottery to paint in our Atelier. Finished items need to be glazed and fired which takes up to 3 days.
KIDS
We aim to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. We provide essential items such as baby monitors, high chairs, stair gates etc. On arrival, your kids will receive their own welcome pack including pens, a scrap book, glue and a soft toy bunny in their own Le Caillau backpack. Our swimming pool is heated to make swimming more enjoyable for little ones. Nestled amongst our cherry trees find a trampoline, swing set & sand pit, not to mention lots of space for running around. We also have a children's menu in the restaurant and fresh baby foods can be prepared on request.

[post_content] => Our pretty gites just across the lawn from the pool are named after the Musketeers - D'Artagnan, Aramis, Porthos and Athos who all came from this area.
D'Artagnan is like a small house with more than ample room for its 4-5 occupants with its particular feature, a lattice work of original beams dating from 1801.
The upstairs bedroom is a twin bedroom with ancient beams and with en-suite facilities including a small bath.
At the top of the stairs is a mezzanine with private sitting area and a double bed settee.
On the ground floor, a spacious living-area with a kitchen, a bright double bedroom and a bathroom with shower room, washbasin and wc.
The gites contain all the essentials for a self-catering holiday including linen, and towels and a complimentary “welcome pack†with some groceries and wine, which we provide to get you off to the easiest of starts.
Each gite has satellite TV/Radio and receives multiple stations including all BBC and ITV channels. A library of English,French books and board games are also provided in each. Outside, the gites have private patios with tables and chairs.
They are surrounded by Lassenat's lawns, which includes the heated pool with its shower. The pool area is a natural suntrap perfect for getting that golden tan.
For al fresco dining, the Barbecue area is a matter of yards away, as is the Boules pitch, the scene of many competitive after dinner challenges.

[post_content] => This lovely property was originally a cow shed, although you would never know it! It has its own private terrace with patio furniture and a BBQ as well as a sun area and beautiful views over the parkland and private fishing lake at Le Farat. On entering the property from the terrace you are welcomed in to a large spacious and fully equipped modern kitchen. All appliances have been provided including 2 fridge freezers, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven and microwave. There is ample crockery and cutlery, even tea towels oven gloves and an apron are provided! The dining area has a large table suitable for up to 6 people and also an antique cupboard to house table linens. On entering the separate lounge area down a small step you are welcomed into a cosey room with beams and wood burner. There are two large comfortable sofas a coffee table and a large Flat screen TV that provides both UK and French TV. Also on offer is an ipod dock and playstation with DVD player. The first of the two bathrooms is down stairs and is beautifully appointed with twin sinks and a huge walk-in italian shower (big enough to take at least three!)This room also has a toilet and houses the washing machine.
Moving upstairs you are welcomed into a large landing area with stone walls and beamed ceilings. At one end it has been sectioned off with a screen, wardrobe and dressing table to provide a cute corner for a teenager or child. There is frequently a debate with each new family that arrives as to who is going bag this spot! The master bedroom is off the landing and has a large super king bed, and is decorated with sumptuous bedding and has antique furniture including a wardrobe, a washstand and chest of drawers. At the other end of landing off the hall way is the second bedroom. It is decorated in subtle blues and whites and has two large single beds (100x200). On the opposite side of the hall is bathroom two which has a bath with shower attachment, toilet, heated towel rail and sink unit.

With full central heating throughout, the gite is ideal for holidays all year round, including Christmas and New Year.
La Maison d'Iris sits within an acre of well-planted, landscaped gardens. The gardens, extensively planted with flower and shrub borders, provide colour throughout the year, offering both sun worshippers, and those seeking some leafy shade, all they need for a perfect holiday. Nestling in the heart of the grounds is a stunning 10m x 5m heated swimming pool (open from May to October). We hope you enjoy our house and gardens as much as we do.

The Velux windows in both bedrooms are equipped with blackout blinds, the small window in the master bedroom has original wooden shutters. Both rooms also have ceiling fans and electric heaters. A cot and highchair are available on request.
Bright and airy bathroom, with toilet, bidet and sink, fully tiled shower unit and towel radiator, a hair dryer is also supplied.
Downstairs - Kitchen/Dining room - Sunny kitchen with Mediterranean feel, equipped with microwave, multifunction oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dining table and chairs. Light and spacious room with a window facing east towards your private garden, one set of patio doors facing west towards our garden/courtyard with lovely views, and another set of patio doors leading onto a big covered patio, private and south facing with panoramic views of the Pyrenees. Table and chairs provided for outdoors dining, as well as sun loungers and BBQ.
Lounge - Airy yet cosy room with comfy sofa and chair and wood burning stove, TV/entertainment system, there also is free Wifi internet connection. Original wooden staircase leading upstairs. Window facing west towards the courtyard and back door facing east, leading out to the private garden.
Apart from your own private patio and garden, you're welcome to use the various seating areas in our garden, which faces south with spectacular views of the Pyrenees. Take a seat under the walnut tree and enjoy the view of the Pic du Midi in the distance, while away the hours on the sun terrace by the pool or lay in the hammock with a book, in the shade that our big Cadalpa trees provide on hot days.
