[post_content] => La Maison Granit was built around 1800. Many original features have been retained, such as a stone fireplace, and beams, and it is now furnished and equipped with your comfort in mind. We hope you will enjoy the mod-cons we provide such as satellite TV, DVD player (and DVDs), wi.fi, and Ipod docks.

The ground floor accommodation is open plan and consists of:-
A dining area with a large table and chairs for 6 people.
A fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, kettle, cafetiere, toaster and iron; assorted pans, knives, and utensils; plenty of glasses, cutlery, crockery and mugs. On our travels over the years, we have stayed in many holiday cottages, and have quite often got frustrated to find things 'missing'. We hope you will think we have thought of everything; if in doubt, please ask to see the full list, and no, of course we haven't forgotten a tea-pot! There will be an initial supply of tea, coffee, sugar, essential seasonings and oil to start you off.
A lounge area with two comfy sofas, centred around the stone fire-place, with wood burning stove, TV and DVD player, and bookshelves with books and DVDs.
Door to to private rear garden, with rotary line, patio furniture, BBQ, and access to further gardens and field.
On the 1st floor, there is one double bedroom, one twin bedded room and a family bathroom with washing machine, shower, bath, w.c, and handbasin.
On the 2nd floor, you will find the master bedroom, complete with en-suite bathroom with bath, handbasin and w.c.
For our younger guests, there are lots of lovely books and DVDs just for you!

A welcome pack containing a selection of local goodies such as cheese, wine, and seasonal fruits will be waiting for you on arrival.

We provide all bed linen, towels and tea towels, but not beach/swimming towels. A cot (with bedding), high chair and bed guards are available; please let us know when booking if you should require them.
A small supplement will be made for heating through the colder months.

[post_content] => This self catering holiday cottage was originally a bread oven once supplying the hamlet and is now the focal point of a very interesting, self-contained modern cottage. The mezzanine has a double bed and is accessed by a wooden stair. A rustic charm has been conveyed here with exposed roof timbers. The ground floor is tiled throughout and comprises a lounge/dining room comfortably furnished with settee and armchairs, with the original bread oven an interesting feature,a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The ceiling to floor windows in the lounge provide a beautiful view of the woodland and countryside beyond.

Outside
Set in rural farmland of over four acres, La Lohuas has a several discreet outside areas within it's boundaries. Each with it's own attraction and character.

The most popular with children is the fenced and secure play area, which has been designed to ensure that children can “let their hair down” without disturbing the other guests. Here we have a huge open-fronted barn with children's toys, sandpit and a table tennis table. An ideal distraction if ever it rains, but with the added bonus of being shaded from the sun on the hottest of days. Next to the barn is a large lawned area with a 14 foot trampoline, swings, slide, see-saw and football and badminton nets.

There are gardens with a croquet lawn, a hammock suspended under the walnut trees and a little walk behind the chicken pen takes you down to our woodland fairy grotto, where you can listen to the birds singing and the babbling brook. There is a little stream at the bottom with a bridge, where you can play “pooh-sticks”.

[post_content] => Situated on the westernmost tip of Finistère, La Crèche de Penn al Lann Garo lies at the end of a private country lane, just five minutes drive from the unspoilt rugged coastline and quiet sandy beaches famous in this area of France.

Sympathetically restored, La Crèche combines Breton tradition with modern day comfort. So pack up your bucket and spade and come and discover!

The main room features an antique French bed with memory form mattress; the sleeping loft has a gallery which overlooks the living area and is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a day-bed and views across the fields to the coast. The children's room features a bunk-bed and a cot-bed is available on request.

The open plan lounge is light and airy with a wood-burning stove and galleried ceiling.

The large kitchen/dining area includes dishwasher, gas hob/electric oven, fridge and microwave.

The gîte is equipped with a DVD player, video and English satellite TV and a music system. A variety of DVDs are provided as well as a range of games and activities for all weathers and ages.

The modern well-appointed bathroom has a large shower and WC.

In the utility room you'll find a washing machine and ironing board as well as extra storage space.

While the gîte is non-smoking, step outside into the large garden with its outdoor table, chairs and sun parasol. Make the most of eating al-fresco with the purpose built BBQ shelter. Behind the gîte is a boules area and in a shady corner you'll find swings, slides and a climbing frame for the more energetic members of the family!

La Crèche has its own mini flock of hens, which you can feed and collect the eggs (for your own use) or we can do this for you, a treat for most children. We can't accept pets but along with the chickens, our pigs, and lambs (in season) will entertain animal-lovers.

The village of Plourin is just 5 minutes away by bike so enjoy the cycle for your freshly baked morning croissants. Or burn a few extra calories and cycle down to the port of Argenton (about 15 minutes by bike) where you can enjoy a coffee in the local bar whilst deliberating over the days patisseries.

[post_content] => The Grange, sleeps 10, is the largest cottage in the group of three only 1km from the village of Riec sur Belon It consists of recently converted farm buildings within a small group. It is set in peaceful, wooded countryside in South Finisterre, between the Belon and Aven rivers and close to the sea. The buildings feature thick natural stone walls and heavy wood beams. First floors are of solid natural pine, whereas ground floors are tiled for ease of upkeep. Each property has a traditional woodburning stove in addition to electric radiators. Many visitors comment that the buildings are well equipped.

At the rear of each property is a separate secluded patio area leading on to a large communal grass area ideal for children. Barbeques, outdoor seating, table tennis and a boules pitch are provided. a Grange is a large converted barn with five bedrooms and three shower/bathrooms, ideally suited to several generations of one family or to large organised groups. The accommodation sleeps 10, with two bedrooms each containing a double bed and three bedrooms each containing a pair of single beds. Downstairs is a very large lounge, a spacious separate kitchen/diner (with 10 seat dining table) and a smaller TV/CD/video room.

One bedroom with two single beds is situated on the ground floor at the rear of the building, where it has a window to the rear garden. It is well away from the living rooms and has its own large shower room and separate w/c. As such it is often popular with the older members of a family group or with persons of limited mobility.

No bed linen included. Otherwise, prices inclusive of electricity, water etc. Area The local area is ideal for quiet walks and cycling. The wooded coastal path around the Belon river passes just 400metres away. A suggested list of local walks is provided. There are many lovely beaches and harbours nearby offering a choice of sailing, canoeing, fishing, surfing and swimming in very clean and clear water. The nearest beach, Questelan, is just 2 km away.
