The living area has an open fireplace, comfortable sofas, chairs and is fully equipped with CD, TV & DVDs.
The dining area has a large dining table and enough chairs for everyone to enjoy those wonderful family meals together.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, hob and oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities. There is a family bathroom with bath, shower, sink and WC.
The house is baby and toddler friendly. Stairgates top and bottom, highchairs, cots, steriliser, toys books etc . The property is great for walking and cycling as we have direct access from the property onto the groomed forest trails .
There are six bedrooms: 1 with double bed and ensuite shower room; 1 double room; 3 twin rooms and 1 bunk bed room. A futher family bathroom with bath, shower, sink and WC upstairs. Bedding is provided but you will need your own towels.
Outside you can enjoy a 12m x 6m pool with Roman steps into the shallow end and an adjacent children's pool. There is a large sunbathing terrace and the pool is open and heated from mid-May until the end of September. It is securely fenced. The extensive grounds are a delight for all ages and cover around 22 acres including a large children's play area, indoor play barn, games field, open parkland and is bounded by trees and fields.
Prices include all bed linen, water, electricity and heating when required (during the colder months). Cots and highchairs are available free of charge. Please note that there is an end of stay clean payable locally or simply leave it as you found it, clean and tidy. Although priced in Euros we can accept sterling at the current rate of exchange at the time the payment is due. The house is baby and toddler friendly. Outside
Set in rural farmland of over four acres, La Lohuas has a several discreet outside areas within it's boundaries. Each with it's own attraction and character.
The most popular with children is the fenced and secure play area, which has been designed to ensure that children can “let their hair down†without disturbing the other guests. Here we have a huge open-fronted barn with children's toys, sandpit and a table tennis table. An ideal distraction if ever it rains, but with the added bonus of being shaded from the sun on the hottest of days. Next to the barn is a large lawned area with a 14 foot trampoline, swings, slide, see-saw and football and badminton nets.
There are gardens with a croquet lawn, a hammock suspended under the walnut trees and a little walk behind the chicken pen takes you down to our woodland fairy grotto, where you can listen to the birds singing and the babbling brook. There is a little stream at the bottom with a bridge, where you can play “pooh-sticksâ€.

The open-plan living area is made cosy with exposed beams and a Jotul log-burning stove, comfortable sofas create easy relaxing spaces where you can chat with the cook or gather round the large farmhouse table. French windows open from the dining area onto a patio for those alfresco long lunches or early evening aperitifs.
The kitchen has a gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave.
The modern, well-appointed, downstairs bathroom has a large shower and WC. The bathroom hallway provides home to the washing machine.
Upstairs you'll find bedrooms built into the eaves with wooden floors and uninterrupted views across the open fields. Beautiful white, crisp cotton bed linen with co-ordinating accessories creates a calm, comfortable atmosphere. The main bedroom has a restored traditional double bed, hanging wardrobe space and both French and English plugs sockets. The twin room has two new single beds and plenty of storage space. The reading landing is stocked with books and has a comfortable day bed where you can relax with your favourite author. There is an additional double bed sofa downstairs and a cot bed is also available on request.
Step outside into your own private garden, relax in the sun or under the shady oaks, enjoy al-fresco lunches on the BBQ leaving the children to play on their own swings and slides.
A private pathway leads from the car parking area, over a small brook and through the private garden to the front door.
