Our aim is for you to completely relax here so we have equipped each gite with everything you need to feel totally at home during your family holiday.
The gardens are safe and child friendly with a large lawned area for children and toddlers to roam freely and to play on the swings, slide or build châteaux in the sandpit. The swimming pool is heated and fenced for safety. We welcome children of all ages from babies to teenagers and have provided everything you need for the perfect French family holiday including a bottle of chilled champagne for the adults.Combining modern comforts with vintage charm, Le Cerisier has everything you need to feel at home. Colour schemes in blue, linen, and French grey are easy on the eye and as always our vintage finds give this gite a very stylish look. There are large comfy sofas in the sitting room to flop into after a hard day at the pool.
The private garden is situated at the back of the cottage and is perfect for relaxing in total peace. The kitchen diner overlooks the main gardens which are walled and gated.
Upstairs, the twin room overlooks the pool and the other 2 look out onto open countryside.

[post_content] => La Boheme, which sleeps up to 4 people, is a charming 18th century cottage with all accommodation on the ground floor. The living space is one large room which comprises a comfortable sitting area with British satellite tv, a dvd player, cd player and free internet connectivity, a woodburner for the cooler months and a kitchen/dining area equipped with cooker, refrigerator and microwave oven. There are two bedrooms - a double with french doors leading to a charming, patio, and a second which has two single beds. There is a shower room with washbasin and wc. Throughout the cottage there are exposed beams and tiled and parquet floors.There is also a shared, separate utility room housing laundry facilities.

[post_content] => Colombard is the original 3 bedroomed cottage of the ferme, although normally with sleeping for 6 an extra bed and cot may be added if requested.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, with ample space for a cot. Bedroom 2 has twin beds. Bedroom 3 has bunk beds & a cot which can be replaced by a single bed.
The ground floor bathroom has a both a bath and a shower, towels are included but we request that you do not use them by the pool. There is a separate wc upstairs.
The open plan living area is comfortable and spacious. Seating upto 8 with ease and includes television with satellite and DVD along with a hifi and CD.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher, micro-wave, fridge-freezer, cooker, kettle , coffee maker & tea towels.
Outside to a large shaded table & chairs with a permanent BBQ

Gite chataigne is situated 4km from the lively medieval town of Bressuire. Relax in peaceful surroundings, swim or lounge or just watch the wildlife.
We now have wifi internet. The pool is heated from March to October

L'abeille was formed from part of our largest barn once used as the wine cave and where preserves were also made when it was a working farm. L'abeille is set in rural Charente the 'home of Cognac' and is a very peaceful and relaxing holiday location, yet only a short car journey away from civilisation. With views over our field complete with ponies and pygmy goats, a great amusement for children.
L'abeille is highly equipped and very family and child friendly with plenty of space for a great family holiday.

Ruche Gite sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and is mirror image of its neighbour Horloge Gite. They were originally one large barn with huge wooden doors, for the storage of hay in the 18th century and more recently, farm equipment. We split the barn in to two - each approximately 6m by 6m. Each has a spacious open plan ground floor with living and dining areas and a kitchen area.
The open tread, cast iron, spiral staircases lead to the first floor which have 2 twin rooms and a double.
They both have open terrace areas to the front and rear with charcoal barbecues at the rear. Two families together may like to let these two as there is a space between the two which may be used to put tables together and eat as one large group. The bathrooms each have a bath with shower attachment, basin and toilet and plenty of hot water and good pressure. Old beehives and an old grandfather clock case were found in the old barn, hence the names Ruche and Horloge.

[post_content] => Le Petit Chêne is a light and comfortable south facing cottage,situated in a secluded valley close to Aubeterre, one of the prettiest villages in France,surrounded by fields, woods and vines. The market town of Chalais is 2 mins away by car or a 20 minute walk.
The property consists of 2 double rooms with a separate twin bedded room. There is a bathroom with shower, hand basin and toilet and also another separate toilet. There are 2 terraces, one a sunny south facing for the sun lovers and another which is covered for protection when its too hot. There is a 11x4 metre Heated pool and a Hot Tub which is shared with the owners who live on site to help with information on the local area.
Freeview UK satellite TV, a DVD player, MP3/CD player and free broadband Wi-Fi is also provided.
Linen and Towels are also provided, but please bring pool towels.
