On the ground floor of the french holiday cottage there is a large lounge/dining room with wood beams and Charentaise stone walls, typical of this region of France, with a wood-burning stove. There is a large fully-fitted kitchen and an additional shower room.

It has oak beams and exposedstone throughout. There are two large bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities, to suit 4 persons and from the bedroom windows you have views of the orchard and potager.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with fridge, gas cooker, microwave and dishwasher, as well as toaster, coffee maker, kettle and plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. The dining area retains its original manger and has a large old pine table and chairs as well as a two seater sofa. The comfortable living area has a sofa and two armchairs and a flatscreenTV with British satellite tv, as well as a DVD player and CD player. A selection of DVDs and books is also available for guests' use.
The beautiflul ash staircase leads to a landing with two bedrooms. The double bedroom has a wrought iron double bed, wardrobe and drawer unit and the en-suite facilities include hand basin, toilet. and shower system with massage jets.
The twin room has two wrought iron single beds, a large pine chest of drawers and a recessed area for hanging clothes. The en-suite bathroom has a hand basin, toilet and bath with an over shower attachment.
An iron, ironing board and hairdrier are also provided within the property.

[post_content] => The living space is 70 square metres over two floors. Downstairs is the beautiful living / kitchen area complete with CD sound system, DVD player, 80 cm HD flat screen TV, electric cooker and hob, microwave, washing machine, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board. A wii fit is provided as well as a number of books, CD's, DVD's and games. Upstairs we have two bedrooms, one is a double and the other has two single beds. Both rooms have ample storage spaces for clothes and other personal belongings. Completing the upstairs is the bathroom with toilet, washbasin and a power shower. For families of more than four we have a number of options, with a double sofa bed available downstairs in the property.
The outside space around the cottage totals around 300 square metres, included in this to the front is a covered outdoor eating area complete with barbeque, to the side of the property is a hard standing area to be used for late evening meals and drinks, facing west, taking in the end of the day sunshine and stunning views of the village. Around the cottage there is plenty of space for parking your car, and setting up your sun loungers whilst the children play safely at the rear of the cottage or on the field above the main house.
The cottage , main house, pool and garden occupies a total land area of 2,000 square metres. Above the main house is the main garden and swimming pool, a fresh water pool of 9 metres x 4 metres x 1.5 metres deep and available from around nine in the morning until late at night (from around the end of April until early October). The pool is fully alarmed to comply with regulations.
Various loungers, chairs, tables, umbrellas, water floats, balls are available for use around the pool.
The house is south facing, so the sun rises to the left side of the property (above the pool) and by mid morning the entire property is bathed in sunshine. You can then watch the sun setting to the right front of the cottage late at night.

The first gite is a self-contained Studio with a double & single bed, a small kitchenette & bathroom. This links into the lounge of the other gite which has a lounge, open kitchen, bathroom & two bedrooms.

Studio gite facilities (25m²):
Kitchenette with fridge, 4 ring hob, sink, kettle, coffee machine, cutlery plates & bowls for two, microwave & toaster. There are table & 2 chairs, wardrobe with mirror, one double bed & one single bed, bedside tables & lamps. The bathroom consists of WC, shower, & wash basin. Both gites have their own outside entrance to the garden.
2 bedroom gite facilities 53m²:
Kitchen area which has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven (38ltrs), microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, 4 ring hob and pressure cooker.
Lounge with satellite decoder (UK free to view), flat screen TV and DVD player.
The first bedroom is 12m² in area & consists of a double bed, bedside tables & lamps and wardrobe.
The second bedroom is 13m² in area & consists of double bed and single beds, bedside tables & lamps and wardrobe.
The bathroom consists of a shower, hand basin, WC and washing machine.
Fan, iron and ironing board are provided.
Cots, highchairs, baby baths & play rugs are supplied on request please ask for availability when booking.
The outside garden which overlooks the playing field is spacious & completely enclosed by a low wall & fence it has a built in bbq, picnic table, parasol, sun loungers & chairs.
This combination is ideal for 3 generation families, a couple with a large family & 2 couples with children.
Onsite facilities:
Our heated swimming pool is open from the 1st May until the 25th September and is heated to 29°C throughout this period. It has a deep & a shallow end with very easy access for children & the elderly. The pool area is fenced & the entrance gate is alarmed to stop small children wandering into the pool area. Parasols, sunbeds & cushions are supplied as are a pool toys.
Adjacent to the pool is the games room with pool table, table tennis; book exchange, table football & a toddler's play area.
In front of the Ecurie is a very large playing field with a marked out mini football pitch, paddle tennis, badminton, cricket, boules & baseball. Rackets & balls are supplied.
The field is surrounded with trees and within there are a couple of dens for the children to play, this spot is also ideal areas for hanging hammock's these are supplied on request.
Between the Ecurie and the Maison is the outside play area this has a selection of swings, slide & a sandpit.

[post_content] => Chez Chloe has two good size bedrooms, one with a double bed. The second room has one single bed and bunk beds and will therefore sleep 3.
The cottage has been renovated to a high standard but still maintains all the charm of property in the area. The two bedrooms still have the exposed oak beams that add to their character.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would expect and includes :-

A comfortable lounge is equipped with UK satellite TV, DVD player, and a CD player. A selection of music CD's, some board games and books are also provided. A wide selection of DVD's are available to borrow. Free WiFi is available.
The bedrooms are both south facing and catch all the sunshine on offer in this the second sunniest region of France. The views are over arable farm land where sunflowers and grapes are important crops. The family bathroom is equipped with basin, wc and a large shower cubicle. This shower has a deep base to form a bath for young children.
It has its own private fenced patio area, with outside table and chairs, a sun shade and a BBQ.
This cottage shares a 10 metre [33ft] by 5 metre [16ft] heated, chlorine free swimming pool with our other small gites. The pool has a constant depth of 1.2 metres [4ft] and is fully enclosed by a wall for privacy and conforms to the very high French safety standards for pools. The pool is surrounded by a very large patio area where ample sun loungers and parasols are provided. It has stunning views over the local countryside.
We have a games room on site which faces away from the cottages and has a magnificent uninterrupted view over the countryside. To take advantage of the landscape there is also a large terrace area there and a large BBQ. The games room has table tennis, table football, dart board, swing ball, boules and other various outdoor games.
4 adult bicycles are available to borrow at no charge.
