The gallery kitchen/breakfast area is fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, cooking utensils, cutlery and tableware, washing machine, iron and ironing board.
On the 1st floor there are two bedrooms.
Bedroom 1: One king size bed, two bedside drawer units, one clothes rail and en suite shower room with wc and hand basin.
Bedroom 2: Three single beds (one with storage drawers), one bedside drawer unit, one clothes rail and en suite shower room with wc and hand basin.
All bed linen and gite towels are provided. Cot and high chair available upon request.
There is direct and easy access from the rear of the gite to an enclosed pool area with a 10m x 4.5m swimming pool, with roman steps to the shallow end, sun-loungers and parasols, which is shared with our other gite Le Petit Lézard (#38161 search on Home page).Â
The gite has a covered front porch with electric wall light, table and chairs, overlooking the front garden with a small lawn and shrubs and two magnificent Horse-chestnut trees which provide excellent shade for outside dining.
There are several outdoor sitting areas in sun or shade with garden furniture and BBQ.

[post_content] => Once the village bakery, Columbard cottage has its own walled and gated garden (quite private, as it's on the far side of the buildings from the main lawn). There is one large bathroom, with a wc, basin and family-sized tiled bath/shower (once a stone wine cuvee). The lounge/dining room faces east over the main lawn and provides a good view of the children's play area (it's easy to hop over the low window sill if necessary)!
An adjacent covered parking space is provided.
The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, full oven, gas hob etc. and also includes a small breakfast table (an old oak grape press). There are two twin rooms above the lounge and a double bedroom with four poster above the kitchen. Bedrooms are reached via short flights of stairs off the mezzanine balcony.

[post_content] => Clairette is the largest cottage at La Vendange. The master bedroom, living room and the large kitchen/dining room face due South, so Clairette is full of space and light. Clairette features off-road parking, a private lawn, courtyard and (like all the other cottages) an outdoor dining/BBQ area which looks out over the main lawn/childrens' play area.
The large kitchen/formal dining area is open plan in the local style and is approx. 30m2.
The sitting room leads through to a downstairs double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (including a "Balneo Therapie" spa bath). There is also a downstairs wc. The double room leads through to a small annex bunk bedroom most suitable for young children as the only access is via the downstairs double. The spacious kitchen/dining room is accessed via the sitting room or from the courtyard. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom (with giant 1.8mx2.0m oak four poster bed), a shower room with wc and a twin room.
One of the highlights of Clairette is the "Zen garden" with a swinging seat and water feature. There is a second outdoor dining set on the private lawn which can easily be moved into the Zen garden.

Horloge Gite sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and is mirror image of its neighbour Ruche Gite. They were originally one large barn with huge wooden doors, for the storage of hay in the 18th century and more recently, farm equipment. We split the barn in to two - each approximately 6m by 6m. Each has a spacious open plan ground floor with living and dining areas and a kitchen area.
The open tread, cast iron, spiral staircases lead to the first floor which have 2 twin rooms and a double.
They both have open terrace areas to the front and rear with charcoal barbecues at the rear. Two families together may like to let these two as there is a space between the two which may be used to put tables together and eat as one large group. The bathrooms each have a bath with shower attachment, basin and toilet and plenty of hot water and good pressure. Old beehives and an old grandfather clock case were found in the old barn, hence the names Ruche and Horloge.

The four large bedrooms, three doubles and one children's twin room (which also has a selection of toys and games) are comfortably furnished. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with mosaic tiling.
The contemporary open plan kitchen / diner has stunning views, particularly of the amazing sunsets. It is very well equipped with a double fridge freezer, large stainless steel Range cooker with electric oven/grill plus 6 ring gas hob (including a wok burner) with stainless steel extractor. Matching stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle etc. plus all crockery, glassware and cutlery needed for a very comfortable stay (childrens colourful plastic plates, cups and cutlery also provided). There is a spacious lounge which has windows looking south over the village of Le Gicq and plenty of comfortable seating for all. There is also a DVD player and small selection of films.
Villa Blanc is the owners second home and as such is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It is available to let together or separately with Gite Jaune and Gite Bleu on the Hameau des Martres property.
It sleeps 8 in four bedrooms, 3 doubles one with en suite shower room and a twin room. Large main bathroom with 270L bath. It has stunning views and enjoys the same facilities on the property as the gites of heated, enclosed swimming pool, large play field with play tower, swings, slide and sandpit and a tranquil, rural location. [post_content] => This former cottage is described as a cuisine (kitchen) on the old plans and the large old stone fireplace may have been used for smoking or curing the farm produce. The ground floor has terracotta tiles which keep the temperature down in the summer and the fireplace now has a log burning stove for the cooler autumn and spring evenings and the winter chill so this really is suitable for use at any time of year.
Upstairs is a large shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. Next door is a large bedroom with pine floorboards, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and a four poster bed. The bedroom is spacious enough for a cot which we can supply at no extra charge if you have a baby. However it is not suitable for toddlers and small children. Outside is a patio with dining furniture and barbecue and privacy is afforded by fencing, trellis and climbing plants.

Bel - Air is set in 25 acres of ground and to the rear are our woods with oaks, silver birch and sweet chestnut trees, hence the name "Les Châtaigniers".
This lovely three bedroom house with its exposed stone walls and multi-coloured tiled roof overlooks the courtyard, the fields and beyond to the woods. Sleeping accommodation consists of two spacious double bedrooms and a further large bedroom with two single beds and bunk beds.
The interior is of exposed stone with oak beams, many of which are original. Each room is very spacious, light and airy. It has two shower rooms (one on each floor) in the lounge there is a hi-fi unit and video and DVD players.
The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, dish washer, fridge, gas cooker and microwave.
