The bright and airy ground-floor centrally-heated accommodation, newly decorated in 2008, has been stylishly and tastefully furnished throughout.
Bedrooms:
Two double-bedrooms lead off from the living area, one with a double bed and French windows overlooking the front terrace and gardens, the other with twin single beds. A vestibule leads to a shower room and wc.
Bathrooms: A fully tiled shower room with extra large cubicle and power shower, washbasin and wc.
Kitchen: The American-style kitchen with breakfast-bar is equipped with a new electric cooker and ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, separate freezer and microwave. Guests have a full set of cookware, utensils and matching porcelain tableware.
Utility Room: An iron, ironing board, floor mop, pan and brush, broom, bucket, clothes horse and basic cleaning materials including washing up liquid, detergent, conditioner, floor cleaner and dishwasher tablets are all provided for the convenience of guests.
Living Rooms: The lounge has a cosy settee, arm chairs and coffee table. The dining area has a wrought iron glass-top dining table with matching chairs to seat 4. There is a TV with Sky satellite free channels and DVD player. The gîte has broadband internet with WIFI.
Other: We offer long lets on a monthly basis, during Winter, for those searching for property. Prices include heating and electricity. Handy for the village shops with full central heating, the gite is well placed for exploring the Charente and Dordogne.

Nestled in a tiny hamlet, a few minutes from the river Dive, within the Natura 2000 wildlife protected zone, this charming 16th century Manor house is an ideal base for those who wish to relax and unwind in full privacy since there are no other gites on the premises and the owners live 2 miles away, easily available if required.
The careful restoration of this special, historic home brought back to life many of its hidden architectural treasures : beautifully carved windows with interior stone seats, a gothic fireplace, an arched stone sink as well as impressive flagstones and beams. The furniture, paintings and subtle colour schemes have been carefully selected to suit the house's character . The accommodation sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and a baby (cot, high chair, baby bath provided free of charge), children are welcome.
The garden:
The pretty, enclosed garden is very private and sheltered, a veritable heat trap! It has been restored with equal passion : enjoy the scent of old roses, honeysuckle, lavender, lily of the valley, help yourself to the Moroccan mint from the 16th century style herb garden, dine al fresco under the pergola shaded by an ancient vine, enjoy a barbecue and catch a glimpse or listen to the many birds which visit it. [post_content] => The comfortable cottage at Ouismes, comprises a large furnished sitting room with a cosy wood stove for the winter months. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the corner with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. The open plan staircase takes you up to a large double bed room with en suite shower room and wc. There is a large window on the stairwell bringing plenty of light and a small one overlooking the garden and valley below. There is a cot and folding bed suitable for a baby, toddler or small child.
Outside there is a large terrace with table and chairs, a border of fresh herbs, flower beds, a lawn and an off-road private parking space. The whole garden and terrace is enclosed by a fence. Guests are invited to enjoy the owners' 'child free' pool and terrace during the day. Two bikes are also available. Depending on the season there is also produce from the garden for sale.
In 2013 the village of Crezieres won the Departmental 1st prize in the sub 500 inhabitants section of the 'Village Fleurie' flower competition.

[post_content] => Chez Chloe has two good size bedrooms, one with a double bed. The second room has one single bed and bunk beds and will therefore sleep 3.
The cottage has been renovated to a high standard but still maintains all the charm of property in the area. The two bedrooms still have the exposed oak beams that add to their character.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would expect and includes :-
a dish washer
a microwave
cooker with oven
fridge/freezer
A comfortable lounge is equipped with UK satellite TV, DVD player, and a CD player. A selection of music CD's, some board games and books are also provided. A wide selection of DVD's are available to borrow. Free WiFi is available.
The bedrooms are both south facing and catch all the sunshine on offer in this the second sunniest region of France. The views are over arable farm land where sunflowers and grapes are important crops. The family bathroom is equipped with basin, wc and a large shower cubicle. This shower has a deep base to form a bath for young children.
It has its own private fenced patio area, with outside table and chairs, a sun shade and a BBQ.
This cottage shares a 10 metre [33ft] by 5 metre [16ft] heated, chlorine free swimming pool with our other small gites. The pool has a constant depth of 1.2 metres [4ft] and is fully enclosed by a wall for privacy and conforms to the very high French safety standards for pools. The pool is surrounded by a very large patio area where ample sun loungers and parasols are provided. It has stunning views over the local countryside.
We have a games room on site which faces away from the cottages and has a magnificent uninterrupted view over the countryside. To take advantage of the landscape there is also a large terrace area there and a large BBQ. The games room has table tennis, table football, dart board, swing ball, boules and other various outdoor games.
4 adult bicycles are available to borrow at no charge.
