Many original features have been retained, such as a stone fireplace, and beams, and it is now furnished and equipped with your comfort in mind. We hope you will enjoy the mod-cons we provide such as satellite TV, DVD player (and DVDs), wi.fi, and Ipod docks.
The ground floor accommodation is open plan and consists of:-
A dining area with a large table and chairs for 6 people.
A fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, kettle, cafetiere, toaster and iron; assorted pans, knives, and utensils; plenty of glasses, cutlery, crockery and mugs. On our travels over the years, we have stayed in many holiday cottages, and have quite often got frustrated to find things 'missing'. We hope you will think we have thought of everything; if in doubt, please ask to see the full list, and no, of course we haven't forgotten a tea-pot! There will be an initial supply of tea, coffee, sugar, essential seasonings and oil to start you off.
A lounge area with two comfy sofas, centred around the stone fire-place, with wood burning stove, TV and DVD player, and bookshelves with books and DVDs.
Door to to private rear garden, with rotary line, patio furniture, BBQ, and access to further gardens and field.
On the 1st floor, there is one double bedroom, one twin bedded room and a family bathroom with washing machine, shower, bath, w.c, and handbasin.
On the 2nd floor, you will find the master bedroom, complete with en-suite bathroom with bath, handbasin and w.c.
For our younger guests, there are lots of lovely books and DVDs just for you!
A welcome pack containing a selection of local goodies such as cheese, wine, and seasonal fruits will be waiting for you on arrival.
We provide all bed linen, towels and tea towels, but not beach/swimming towels. A cot (with bedding), high chair and bed guards are available; please let us know when booking if you should require them.
A small supplement will be made for heating through the colder months.

Your accommodation is part of a traditional “longere†or longhouse, which were very common in this part if Brittany. The original part of this one, we believe, dates back to around 1750. We have refurbished it to an exceptional standard over a period of two years.
Everything is fitted out to the highest standard - doors and windows are oak, towels and bedlinen are pure cotton or Egyptian cotton, the kitchen is over-equipped with utensils etc. Everything in your gite is spotless, the windows are clean, the garden is tidy, and everything you might need has been thought of.

There is a covered, heated swimming pool, outdoor games area and large, safely enclosed garden which await you with the promise of an authentic, peaceful and convivial holiday. a hamlet of farm buildings in a very special setting, sensitively renovated in keeping with local architectural style. These cottages are named after the nearby River Blavet locks of Treblavet, Minazen and Rimaison. ** There is a new room with three beds, shower and toilet, above the information cottage which would be suitable for teenagers, if you need extra, room only, accommodation. The rental is 200€ per week for two people in peak season.
Treblavet, carefully restored and adjoining Minazen (6), is equipped to a very high standard, decorated in tasteful, harmonious colours with large, sunny bedrooms and a private garden with hedges and a grassy bank for privacy.
The ground floor has the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full cooker, microwave etc; which gives on to the dining and lounge area. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Also downstairs you will find a double bedroom with private ensuite shower room and separate toilet.
Upstairs there are two further bedrooms (so three in total), one triple room with three single beds and the other a family room with one double and one single. There is also a family shower room and separate 2nd toilet. For your further comfort bed linen is provided and bathroom towels are available to rent at 6€ (bath & hand towels). [post_content] => Piaf Cottage Sleeps 5 Near Plouguenast, and not far from Loudeac and Moncontour, this lovely group of cottages enjoys tranquil surroundings and benefits from a 7 x 4 m heated indoor pool (varies from 1.25 - 1.75 m deep) and large and well equipped games room (with table tennis/ping-pong, pool, darts and table football) and gym above the swimming pool room, along with children's play are and under-cover parking. Each cottage has its own private patio/sitting area outside for Barbequing. All kitchens have microwaves, kettles, toasters and full cooking facilities. All lounges have TV and video and there is a communal video library with a variety of tapes, numbering about 400! Communal washing machine in laundry room.
Piaf Cottage has an open plan living and dining room with TV & Stereo. There is also a well equipped kitchen.
There are three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one single. Family bathroom has bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin. There is a private outside area at the edge of the cottage which has a BBQ.

On the top floor is a bedroom with beautiful original oak beams and a king size bed. On the first floor is the second bedroom which has a small double bed (4ft / 120cm ) and a single bed and the bathroom. Downstairs has an open plan living area & fully fitted kitchen allowing the cook to be part of the party.
All the cottages have English TV, DVD and CD players. Each cottage has its own outside eating area with wooden garden furniture and parasol and catch the sun all day.

The open plan lounge is light and airy with a wood-burning stove and galleried ceiling.
The large kitchen/dining area includes dishwasher, gas hob/electric oven, fridge and microwave.
The gîte is equipped with a DVD player, video and English satellite TV and a music system. A variety of DVDs are provided as well as a range of games and activities for all weathers and ages.
The modern well-appointed bathroom has a large shower and WC.
In the utility room you'll find a washing machine and ironing board as well as extra storage space.
While the gîte is non-smoking, step outside into the large garden with its outdoor table, chairs and sun parasol. Make the most of eating al-fresco with the purpose built BBQ shelter. Behind the gîte is a boules area and in a shady corner you'll find swings, slides and a climbing frame for the more energetic members of the family!
La Crèche has its own mini flock of hens, which you can feed and collect the eggs (for your own use) or we can do this for you, a treat for most children. We can't accept pets but along with the chickens, our pigs, and lambs (in season) will entertain animal-lovers.
The village of Plourin is just 5 minutes away by bike so enjoy the cycle for your freshly baked morning croissants. Or burn a few extra calories and cycle down to the port of Argenton (about 15 minutes by bike) where you can enjoy a coffee in the local bar whilst deliberating over the days patisseries.
